We had 8 paddlers and most of them were in costume to celebrate Halloween.
It was a perfect Autumn day. We got on the water around 1:30pm.
We had new members and visitors too. Everyone wore masks ( for social distancing) when we loaded and unloaded.
More masks for the Halloween costumes were added once we put in to the water.
We stayed out on the water about 2 hours.
In the words of one of our creative guests , Adam Gilliland:
"On our conquest of Lake Wappanocca on Hallow's Eve, our crew of witches and warriors saw thousands of Coots on the water, so we dry sacked and paddled their village, and nary a Coot was left un-spooked that day.”
