SIngle-Day Adventures

It was a pretty day for our Nov 8th paddle, bright and sunny.  The trees provided shelter from a light breeze.  The 2 of us paddled up past the rod and gun club before crossing over to the other side.  Total distance was 6.5 miles in 2 hours.   

The Oak Donnick gauge was at 12.6 feet which, as you can see in the photo, gave us plenty of water.

For anyone who would like to caravan to the launch this coming Friday, Nov 8, 2019, I will be at the MacDonald's in Marion, AR at 9:00 am for coffee and bite to eat.  MacDonald's is also a good place to use a restroom since there aren't any formal facilities at the launch. I will be leaving MacDonald's heading for the launch at 9:30 am and meet at the launch at 10:30 am.

We will probably paddle for about 2 hours and be headed back towards Memphis by 1:00 pm.  Lunch at Tacker's Shake Shack is a possibility.
