Hi. I (54 y/o M) was a paid member for 1 year in 2020 but due to covid never joined any canoe outings. I'd love to join some now, esp. the June 11 trip but I'm looking for a canoeing partner. I have a 17' cruising canoe my family took on Current/Spring/Buffalo overnight trips but its really a 2 person canoe.
Are there any BCCC people that want to go but would prefer a canoeing partner? I don't kayak. I am experienced with all sorts of boating (sailing, scuba & canoeing since I was in Boy Scouts) but its been 9 years since I hit a river mostly because I lack a partner. I paddle solo once a week on the lake in my Walls, MS subdivision but I really want some river time.
So, any way you could spread the word of my situation & see if anyone (M or F) is interested? My canoe is also ideal for cargo on overnight trips.
